The NYT coverage of this year’s Hampton Designer Showhouse left me feeling underwhelmed, but I think the way these curtains are hung is at least interesting (although this room is actually one of my least favorites.)
I do totally dig this white cowhide rug.
I love the curtains in this post and wonder if you know what the fabric is.
Hmmm . . . my guess is some sort of organza, most likely silk. (anyone else have a different idea? or want to back me up?)
If you wanted to re-create these exactly the best way I can think to do it would be to take a copy of this picture into a fabric or curtain store and ask them to show you fabrics that would create a similar look.
