Right before I went to New York I had Emily of Open Sesame Jewelry custom make this necklace for me.
It’s great on its own and mixes beautifully with other pieces. It’s replaced my bean necklace as my every day throw-on-and-go jewelery (although I’ve been wearing them a lot together too.) My favorite part are the [...]
I’m really into layering long necklaces right now, and I think this would be a great one for the collection:
available here (the price is in pounds, but shipping to the US is cheap, so it’s not completely unreasonable . . .)
There’s an etsy store devoted entirely to vintage lockets. Swoon.
This one is killing me. Do you see that “E”? It’s like it was meant for me. Now I just have to come up with approximately $200. Hmmm.
I also think this one is pretty lovely, although I would put it on a more delicate chain.

Rob Ryan is one of my favorite artists. I have one of his tiles and at some point would love to own one of his screenprints (a purchase that will require some pre-planned saving.) I love these two necklaces from Open Sesame Jewelry. Beauty in simplicity – something I’m working on achieving myself these days.

Love this jewelery from Finn. Prices are unlisted, and you know what they say about having to ask . . . but a girl can dream, right?

There is little I love more than perfectly simple stackable rings. Brooke Medlin of etsy store gemmafactrix does them better than almost anyone.

Amy Moore makes beautiful silver jewelery inspired by nature that she sells through her etsy shop honeybee. I especially love the woodgrain pieces she’s doing right now – very modern and at the same time very hippie-chic.
Silver Woodgrain Cuff
Sea Urchin Ring
I love the way these necklaces by neile blend natural materials with a very modern aesthetic. Made of butterfly wings pressed between glass, each piece is truly unique. $55-$100 each, right here.

Emily Percival-Snyder, a 2006 graduate of Maine College of Art who studied metalsmithing and jewelry, creates work which manages to be stunningly beautiful and completely disgusting at the same time – not an easy feat. This work pretty much takes my breath away.
Migrating Infection, fine silver, enamel.
