Sassy Midwest Housewife is a self billed “independent arts collective” whose recently launched website is selling a variety of vintage and modern housewares, artwork, music and fashion. Each artist has their own “gallery” on the site, and new artists are being added as they come. They’re still growing, but already have some great artists signed on, including some etsy favorites of mine, Julianna Swaney of oh my cavalier, and Lisa Price of artgoodies. There are also some great people I’ve never heard of, and I’m especially loving Bellas Beads dramatically colorful necklaces and bracelets. Not exactly impulse buy prices, but something to splurge on for a really special occasion.
