Melissa Moss sent over some links to her work the other day, and I was immediately taken with her pieces that put sea-like creatures in earthy environments – a great juxtaposition. Her work is almost fairy-tale-ish, but maintains a very graphic and modern aesthetic. I love that these pieces are sweet enough to work in a nursery, but strong enough to hold their own in a grown up room. You can see more of Melissa’s work on both her website and in her etsy store – and can purchase prints (including prints on wood, something I love) on both sites. Melissa is currently showing at Bluebottle in Seattle – if you’re in the area go check it out.
