one of my great-aunts made these stepping stones, years ago, maybe even before I was born. They’ve been sitting, semi-buried, in the backyard at my family’s beach house for at least a decade. Recently they were moved to form the new walkway in front of the house, a much more fitting placement, don’t you think?

I really like them.
